Acquired from an altitude of 705km this Landsat 7 ETM+ false colour image over the Chimoré River in Bolivia has been enhanced using the short-wave infrared, near infrared and green wavelengths displayed as red, green and blue. The image covers an area 30km x 40km.

The meandering rivers and oxbow lakes (blue) are prominent in the image from the surrounding vegetation (green). Ancient river channels are also visible.
