Acquired from an altitude of 705km this Landsat 7 ETM+ false colour image over the Great Glen Tear Fault in Scotland has been enhanced using the short-wave infrared, near infrared and green wavelengths displayed as red, green and blue. The image covers an area 80km x 70km.

This highland winter scene captures the early morning mist (Purple) in the highly vegetated valleys (Green). A Munro Bagger's paradise the snow capped mountains are cyan on the image with Ben Nevis located just south of the center.
